🔴 The chairman of the parliamentary political group “European Socialists” Fridon Injia assessed the most current political events in the world and in Georgia live on “Alt Info” TV.
📍 “Wagner” leader Yevgeny Prigozhin’s actions not as a coup attempt, but as a so-called riot, to save himself;
📍 lustration of real political attitudes and the so-called Manifestation of the intellectual resources of politicians and experts regarding Prigozhin’s actions;
📍 Salome Zurabishvili’s recent anti-constitutional and anti-national statements;
📍 “European Socialists” legislative initiative on limiting LGBT propaganda;
🔶 These are the main topics that Fridon Injia reviewed in the “Commentary of the Day” program.
🔶 The chairman of the political group evaluated the actions of Yevgeny Prigozhin, the leader of the private military group “Wagner”, not as a coup attempt, but as a so-called rebellion to save himself.
🔶 “There could be no talk of a coup d’état here. These were actions taken by Prigozhin to save himself, arising out of the criminal case against him.
🔶 Recently, Prigozhin and his organization enjoyed a fairly high rating. Therefore, perhaps the President of Russia and the Russian government as a whole considered it necessary to slow down this organization.
🔶 As for Prigozhin’s actions, it was an attempt on his part to save himself, to cover up the criminal case that was initiated against him a few days ago.” – Friodn Injia believes.
🔶 The MP is sure that Russia would not allow and will not allow a private military group to oppose the country’s official military agency and general staff.
🔶 “Who is Progozhin? Who created it? According to available information, this organization is unconstitutional and it is not considered an official organization. According to the legislation of the Russian Federation, there are quite complicated procedures to go through for the operation of the protective layer. This private military organization has all kinds of weapons except for the atomic bomb.
🔶 Therefore, we must assume that this organization is not created at a lower level and without the permission of the President of Russia, I think it would be impossible to create such an organization.
When this organization was created, perhaps the president and the state needed it to perform different tasks for different purposes. Otherwise, it would be impossible to create this, since this organization has the status of a regular army of Lamas. Therefore, this private military organization could not have been created and infiltrated by the 5th column or liberals into the big state system. I think, to some extent, the liberals who are around Putin, they would be against the creation of this organization.
🔶 As for the controversy that took place in the last period, it was the controversy between Progozhin and the liberal wing in Russia”, Fridon Injia believes.
🔶 “From here, when evaluating these events, talking about a coup d’état is a fabricated story. Everything that this organization has in the form of military equipment has been received from the Russian Defense Agency.
🔶 So the next step could be an amnesty and a peaceful removal of Prigozhin. All the more so if we take into account that a certain part of his organization is already united in the Ministry of Defense and if Prigozhin continues such actions, then radical measures will be taken against him.” – noted the MP
🔶 The chairman of the political group called the statements made by politicians, experts and their analytical visions based on Prigozhin’s actions, not only in Georgia, but a tragicomedy.
🔶 According to Fridon Injia, it is not clear to him the agitation caused by certain political forces yesterday due to Prigozhin’s actions. According to him, the desire of these forces is for the situation in Georgia to become tense and riots to occur, but the reassuring thing is that these forces are few and, most importantly, they do not have the support of the people.
🔶 “It must be said that this process in Georgia is led by the Embassy of the United States of America, under whose authority are other embassies that are instructed, but the Georgian people do not follow these processes. If it were not for bribery, it would not have a centuries-old history, and the country would not have existed for so long.” – noted the MP.
🔶 “It’s true that yesterday was a tragicomedy. Practically, experts, analysts, politicians cut themselves off… such people, who have been in politics for years, must have felt Sio if not a storm… or the second option, they performed the tasks of the collective West. A few months ago, it was Wagner’s military group that destroyed Ukrainian cities and how could anyone

It is thought that it is posed by the West. Indeed, the position of the people who called Prigozhin a hero and swear by his name is amazing,” said Fridon Injia.
🔶 In addition, as the deputy noted, in the event that Prigozhin’s actions would take a serious form, it would be a source of worse misfortune for Georgia.
🔶 The deputy drew attention to the issue of the sale of land by the previous government, which, according to Fridon Injia, was an incredible decision in the light of the fact that the history of bribery does not remember the kings during whose reign Georgian land was sold.
🔶 “The history of Georgia does not remember such a crime committed by the previous government during the reign of any king.” – noted the MP.
🔶 To the question of the host of the program, whether the recent events are correctly perceived by the public and if it is clear who is behind the real pro-Western forces, who is calling people to take to the streets, the deputy noted that the president of Georgia, who started uniting this wing, is distinguished by his actions first of all. And all his statements are anti-Georgian, anti-state.
🔶 “Many people voted for Salome Zurabishvili, including me, but if you think about it, you will understand that a person who was an ambassador in another state, how can he be the president of Georgia. After all, he is a permanent resident of the country that sent him as an ambassador.
🔶 All embassies have their security and special services and they operate under the cover of a diplomatic passport. Therefore, today’s president of Georgia performs at least the function of the head of the intelligence of a foreign country, and he, as the president of the country, coordinates with more countries based on his powers than when he was an ambassador. Moreover, his children work in the US State Department. It can be said that today all embassies with their special services are under the wing of Salome Zurabishvili. As the president, he is the manager of the tasks and plans that he had during the time of the Georgian embassy in France. Now, he has this authority in the capacity of the president.
🔶 Therefore, the control over all his steps and all his actions should be very careful, because his actions are directed to the disorder of the country. – Fridon Injia believes.
🔶 According to the deputy, the same can be said about the pardon of Nika Gvaramia, where it appeared that the European Commissioner knew about the decision to pardon Gvaramia in advance. This confirms that Salome Zurabishvili fulfills the order of the West.
🔶 “The pardon of Nika Gvaramia was staged from beginning to end. This was a rehearsal for the next step regarding the possible pardon of Saakashvili, since Saakashvili faces the possibility of being arrested again, as he is accused of other actions, for which the case has not yet been initiated and the verdict has not been passed. In relation to Saakashvili, the implementation of this type of scenario is excluded, because the government is analyzing the real situation well in this regard. The most important and weighty task that Salome Zurabishvili has is to pardon a person, in this case Saakashvili, who can bring something like destabilization to the country.” – said Fridon Injia.
🔶 Therefore, the deputy believes that the government should take all steps in sequence and all its decisions should be based on the supremacy of the law.
🔶 “If it wasn’t for the government’s peace policy, today it would be impossible to talk about economic progress, double-digit economic growth, and social initiatives. There are still many things to be done in the state, and our party regularly talks about it and demands the authorities to make changes.” – noted Fridon Injia.
🔶 As for the package of draft laws prepared by the “European Socialists” parliamentary political group, where one of the drafts concerns the issue of limiting LGBT propaganda, according to the deputy, we must emphasize the important fact that the draft does not provide for any type of ban on this topic, but the draft is limited to LGBT Propaganda in public gathering places.
🔶 “We have prepared a package of draft laws, which is waiting for when “Georgian Dream” is ready to accept it, because “European socialists” do not have the necessary votes in the parliament. As you know, we are represented in the legislative body by a total of 4 deputies. Therefore, if we introduce a bill and it is blocked, it will prolong the process.
🔶 The draft law prepared by us does not talk about banning, the project restricts LGBT propaganda to community gathering places, schools or kindergartens, squares or parks.
🔶 There have always been people of different orientations. If there will be 2% of such people in the world. In Georgia, we know quite successful, famous and prominent people who are different

They were of orientation. Therefore, the draft law does not provide for any prohibitions against them, the draft law restricts propaganda in certain locations, where their appearance is restricted for the purpose of propaganda.
🔶 The chairman of the political group believes that the ruling political power of “Georgian Dream” is true step by step, but it is still trying in every way to take the effective steps that Sakhtvelo needs today.
🔶 The deputy hopes that all the actions of the country’s government will be reasonable based on the interests of the country and people.

Fridon Injia called the draft law presented by the Georgian government on amendments to the organic law “On Georgian Citizenship” a procedural simplification of the issue and a step forward. However, he added that it would be better to make changes directly to the main and principle issue for the country regarding the simplified procedure for granting citizenship, which was directly the initiative of the Prime Minister of the country, Irakli Gharibashvili.

❗️ Chairman of the parliamentary political group “European Socialists” Fridon Injia called the draft law presented by the Georgian government on amendments to the organic law “On Georgian Citizenship” a procedural simplification of the issue and a step forward. However, he added that it would be better to make changes directly to the main and principle issue for the country regarding the simplified procedure for granting citizenship, which was directly the initiative of the Prime Minister of the country, Irakli Gharibashvili.
✅ At the joint session of the Human Rights Protection and Civil Integration and Diaspora and Caucasus Committees of the Parliament of Georgia, Tornike Cheishvili, the Deputy Minister of Justice of Georgia, presented a draft law on amendments to the Organic Law “On Georgian Citizenship”.
✅ The chairman of the political group came out with several initiatives at the committee meeting. According to him, it is important for the state to take care at the level of relevant profile agencies and to create Georgian language learning courses, thus the state will take responsibility, and people wishing to become Georgian citizens will have more motivation to learn the Georgian language.
✅ In addition, Fridon Injia believes that in the event of a negative decision on Georgian citizenship, a person should have the right to apply to the state again not after 6 months, as the presented draft law provides, but it would be better if this period were reduced to 3 months, thus giving the opportunity to those who wish to be granted Georgian citizenship several times a year to make an application.
✅ Before announcing the mentioned initiatives, the deputy recalled the Prime Minister’s initiative before developing the draft law and noted that the Prime Minister emphasized several times on the issue of citizenship that such a law should be adopted so that Georgia can survive and return its children to the country.
Fridon Ingia drew a parallel with the countries of Greece and Israel, where the state does not attach essential and principled importance to language knowledge. In these states, the main emphasis is on ethnic origin, which should have been an example for the reality of Georgia.
✅”I would like to cite the countries of Israel and Greece as an example. Greece is a member of the European Union, and Israel is a country that is very interested in developing the state at a high level and having its own citizens in its homeland. Israel has practically created a model state for several decades, which is also one of the exemplary from the military point of view.
✅ On the example of these two countries, I should tell you that in connection with obtaining citizenship in the state, attention is not focused on knowledge of the language. Here the importance is given to a person’s ethnic origin, which becomes the basis for granting citizenship. Here the state takes more responsibility. The state provides all conditions for the citizen to learn the language, as well as to create and improve living conditions.
✅ I can say the same about Greece.
✅ Why can’t the state make the same decision for our compatriots and the relevant agencies, for example, the State Language Chamber or any other agency, ensure that they learn the Georgian language.
✅ There may be thousands of people in our country, or even more, who do not know the Georgian language and they are citizens of Georgia. They are of different nationality and do not know the Georgian language, but under the conditions of living together in Georgia, these people have well assimilated Georgian traditions and customs, even though they may not know Georgian.
“Therefore, the presented draft law provides for certain procedural changes, but there is no change and decision regarding the main issue, which Georgia needs today,” said Fridon Injia.
✅ The chairman of the political group believes that in relation to this specific issue, there is opposition from certain forces who want the territory of Georgia without Georgians.
✅ “A lot depends on who else opposes the solution of this issue. This is opposed by those who want the territory of Georgia without Georgians. This is the ultra-liberal force that fights with different methods, and among them, this issue is also important for them, that Georgians do not return to Georgia, and such people are not only in state institutions, but also where it all boils, where it all starts.
However, the Prime Minister of Georgia clearly and clearly said that we should make it easier for our compatriots to obtain Georgian citizenship. – noted the MP.
✅ Fridon Injia criticized the work of the Commission for granting citizenship, which, in his opinion, is of incomprehensible importance and incomprehensible competence.
✅ “I am satisfied, of course, and there is a step forward with this change. I think that in relation to this issue, principle and food

✅ Important changes need to happen regarding the mast communities and we all need to understand this. We must use the cultural, intellectual and financial potential of our compatriots abroad, which will only strengthen the state.

✅ Now that they are fighting against Russian tourists, in fact they are not fighting against Russian tourists, they are fighting that Georgia does not receive income, that Georgia is not rich, that there is disorder, that the situation becomes tense and that the government changes.

✅ Therefore, we appeal to you to resolve such important issues as it is necessary for our country.
✅ The MP is also in favor of the return of Fereydan Georgians to Georgia, who have preserved the Georgian language for 300 years.

Fridon Injia, evaluated the activities of the country’s foreign ministry and focused on the main challenges and tasks in the state’s foreign policy

📍 At the plenary session of the Parliament, the chairman of the political group “European Socialists” of the Parliament of Georgia, Fridon Injia, evaluated the activities of the country’s foreign ministry and focused on the main challenges and tasks in the state’s foreign policy.

📍 Minister of Foreign Affairs Ilia Darchiashvili presented a report on the activities of the Ministry in the format of “Minister’s Hour” in the highest legislative body.

🔴 unification of the country;

🔴 maintaining peace in the country;

🔴 return of refugees and immigrants to Georgia to strengthen Georgia with their intellectual, cultural and financial resources;

🔴 economic progress and development;
These are the issues that the chairman of the political group emphasized in his speech.

🔶 According to Fridon Injia, there are often talks about the existence of three ways to solve the first and most important task – the problem of reunification of the country. In particular, they consider Georgia’s NATO membership as one of the ways to unify the country; Georgia’s accession to the European Union is considered the second way; The third way is a direct dialogue with the country under whose control the indigenous territories of our country are.

🔶 “Let’s consider all three options. I believe that the rhetoric about joining NATO led to the loss of 20% of Georgia’s territories. The reason for this was the 2008 Bucharest record. The rhetoric, the introduction of military equipment, which was then quietly and immediately handed over to Russia in 2008.

🔶 Even then, I doubted that the NATO army would enter and protect the territory of Georgia. Today, the events in Ukraine convinced me and many around me that no NATO soldiers will enter Georgia and protect and fight for our country. Accordingly, the yearning for NATO, various records, armaments caused and caused the situation that is created in Ukraine today.

🔶 Was it worth it for Ukraine?

🔶 As one of the candidates for the American presidency from the Republican Party, Kennedy said that 350,000 soldiers have died in Ukraine since the beginning of the conflict. Cities, villages are destroyed, infrastructure is lost, 20% of Ukraine’s territory is lost, and I don’t think it was worth it for the country. We very often talked about the fact that in order to avoid this situation, it was necessary to fulfill the Minsk agreement.

🔶 Today, Russian military bases are located in our indigenous territories, and I believe that any kind of relationship with the NATO army will not bring anything good to Georgia. Therefore, I do not think that Georgia’s accession to NATO is a way to save the country and restore its territorial integrity.

🔶 Mr. Minister, you understand the situation well, and there are probably issues that are difficult to talk about out loud, maybe the soil is not ripe for it yet, but the truth is one thing…

🔶 You had to be a minister during the period when the territories of the countries in the world are being redistributed, and we, as a small country, cannot participate in this process, because practically nothing depends on us. That is why it is important to maintain the policy of peace that your agency is running today. Making peaceful politics is the way to preserve and save what we have today. – said Fridon Injia.

🔶 Regarding the issue of Georgia joining the European Union, the chairman of the political group believes that, of course, Georgia wants to be granted the status of a candidate for the European Union, but the European Union itself should no less want to accept this decision, otherwise it will lose Transcaucasia.

🔶 “The entire government moved to receive the status of a candidate for the European Union. While this status does not represent anything and does not give anything. We can cite the example of the Republic of Turkey, which has had the status of a candidate country for ten years, but no significant changes have occurred for the country. In relation to Georgia, there was no political will, which is why we were not granted the status of a candidate country. All the more so if we remember that Georgia was in the first place among the three countries with all the parameters” – said the deputy.

🔶 According to Fridon Injia, 12 recommendations were invented in order to color the status and bring it into certain frameworks, which, like the status of a candidate for the European Union, does nothing for the country. Practically, Georgia is already a candidate country for the European Union, since it has applied for this, and the European Union has also accepted the country’s application and has filled more than 2500 questions. Many other countries are in a similar situation, but for none of the countries has the EU put forward similar requirements or conditions for granting candidate status.

“This is a political decision. Therefore, no matter what efforts the current government of the country makes, and no matter what meetings are held at the highest level of the European Union

In this situation, these steps are pointless. The current government of the country really did everything to make Georgia a candidate country for the European Union, and today everything depends on the political will of the high officials of the European Commission. – noted Fridon Injia.

🔶 “You were dragged into these processes and invited to justify yourself every minute. Don’t kill yourself. You have done your best to be worthy and indeed every step you take is worthy.

🔶 I think that you, on the contrary, should impose a condition on the European Union – we will consider whether to join the European Union or not. Because we are a country that has a long history with its ancient culture, traditions, Georgian man’s relationship with his family, Georgian man’s relationship with his children, sanctity of the family, which is a shrine for every Georgian, hospitality. Such brilliant people as Shota Rustaveli, Vazha Pshavela and so on were born and worked in our country. who left their creativity not only to Georgia, but to the whole world.

🔶 We are a country where there has never been anti-Semitism or other religious manifestations, and Europe should learn this from us. We protect the interests of our country.” – said the MP.

🔶 Fridon Injia believes that it is impossible to achieve results without a direct dialogue with Russia on the way to unification of the country.

🔶 “No one can do your job better than you. No one will take your pain to heart more than you. That is why you looked for all opportunities for dialogue at the international level. Nothing is undecided.
In this case, there is a solution and everything should be done for direct dialogue. Of course, in this process, it is important to support the strategic partners of the country, but we should also take into account that the strategic partners may have their own interests, which do not coincide with the interests of our country,” said Fridon Injia.

The chairman of the parliamentary political group “European Socialists” Fridon Injia, during his speech at the plenary session of the parliament in the “format of political debate”, evaluated the conclusion of the Venice Commission regarding the law “on de-oligarchization”.

📍 The law on de-oligarchization, as well as the 12 points of the European Commission, are invented in order to change the government in Georgia. It is on this issue that the EU candidate status for Georgia is tied

📍 Georgia will receive the status of a candidate for the European Union, and this is primarily in the interests of Europe.

📍 However, even after receiving the candidate status, Georgia will face various demands in the form of implementation of recommendations and this will continue until the government in Georgia changes.

🔷 The chairman of the parliamentary political group “European Socialists” Fridon Injia, during his speech at the plenary session of the parliament in the “format of political debate”, evaluated the conclusion of the Venice Commission regarding the law “on de-oligarchization”.

🔷 The chairman of the political group emphasized that a similar law has not been adopted in any democratic country, neither in Europe, nor in America, nor in Asian countries, where even the initiation of this law would cause a smile.

🔷 “Consequently, the demand for the adoption of this law is specially invented in order for the existing government to hand over the power to the opposition. From the very first day, we declared that we would not support the adoption of this law.

🔷 What does the Venice Commission write in its conclusion: the judicial system should be changed, reform should be carried out (the reform has been ongoing for 30 years, including in the Council of Justice); In the conclusion, we also read the request to change the tax legislation, and finally the conclusion ends with the fact that there should be rule of law in the country.” – noted Fridon Injia.

🔷 The deputy drew attention to the fact that he, as the chairman of the “European Socialists” political group, has repeatedly made a statement from the legislative tribune that the 12-point request of the European Commission is invented and in the case of the rule of law in the state, there is no need to adopt similar recommendations or different laws. Therefore, the MP does not see anything special in this part of the conclusion of the Venice Commission.

🔷 “We have always explained that in order to establish order in the country, first of all, there must be rule of law.” – added the deputy.

🔷 The chairman of the political group believes that the law “On Deoligarchization” was directed against Bidzina Ivanishvili from the beginning, so that somehow, with some mechanism, it would be possible to punish her.

🔷 “Due to the fact that this law could not satisfy and could not create the mechanism that would somehow be directed against Ivanishvili, that would be included in the framework of the law, today it turned out that the law on “deoligarchization” does not fulfill the requirements of our friends from “Europe”. Then they decided that the law on “deoligarchization” is not acceptable. – said Fridon Injia.

🔷 As for getting the candidate status for Georgia, the deputy is sure that Georgia will get the status and it is primarily in the interests of Europe.

🔷 “I think that they will give Georgia the status of a candidate for the European Union, and this is more in their interest. For Georgia, it is important that the country continues to do its work, be it economic transformations or improvement of the relevant legal framework that ensures the economic progress of the country, we need it. As for the European Union and other international structures, this is a way, a mechanism for Georgia’s integration. For our country to be within the framework, within the borders, the place it occupied 50 years ago”. – noted Fridon Injia.

🔷 The chairman of the political group is sure that even after receiving the candidate status, Georgia will still face various demands in the form of implementation of recommendations and this will continue until the government in Georgia changes.

Chairman of the political group “European Socialists” of the Parliament of Georgia Fridon Injia called it an insult to the Georgian language.

📍 Chairman of the political group “European Socialists” of the Parliament of Georgia Fridon Injia called it an insult to the Georgian language.
Giorgi Gurgenidze, the head of the capital market development and pension reform department of the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia, presented the “draft law on securitization” at the session of the legal affairs committee in the parliament.
🔺 There is such a word in Maghrul – “Efut”, which means a set of laws, in a similar situation we can use the Maghrul language.
🔺 Why is it so difficult for a nation with a panther to borrow foreign words from other languages?! – Freedon is an engineer
“Generally, in the banking sector, you have a lot of terms that are, so to speak, imported, made up. … wouldn’t it be better to agree with the Language Chamber to introduce such a foreign word into the Georgian vocabulary? Or if there is no matching of this foreign term in the Georgian language, we can use Maghrian and Svan languages. There is such a word in Megruli – “Efuti”, which means the unity of the law. In a similar situation, we can use the Megruli language…. Georgian is a very rich language, and does not the establishment of such terminologies damage the Georgian language and the identity of the country”. – said Fridon Injia at the committee meeting.
🔺 The chairman of the political group believes that it is not clear to him the necessity of bringing such a bill to the parliament for consideration.
🔺 “It is clear that the topic is specific, but it should be written in an understandable language for ordinary people. I believe that this is an insult to the Georgian language.” – noted Fridon Injia.
🔺 The deputy called the submitter of the bill to think more and to take the issue more seriously.
🔺 On the other hand, the chairman of the Legal Affairs Committee, Anri Okhanashvili, asked Giorgi Gurgenidze that the authors of the said draft law should present a more elaborated and more organized text at the next session of the committee, because there are many issues that need to be refined and clarified.
