"The project of the law "On deoligarhization" presented by the ruling party contradicts the Constitution of Georgia. If the law is adopted in this version, our party will file a lawsuit in the Constitutional Court on the first day. No one has repealed the Constitution yet, and if there is a rule of law in the country, then the court will accept the appropriate decision».

This statement was made by the chairman of the parliamentary political group "European Socialists" Fridon Indzhiya at the plenary session of the Parliament, where the ruling majority in the first reading presented the draft law "On deoligarhization".

The chairman of the political group turned to the "Georgian dream" and called on the ruling force to act worthy of the call and only based on the interests of the country.

"They are fighting with Bidzina Ivanishvili by all methods, a person who invested billions in our country in different ways, both under one government and the previous one. At the same time, everyone is silent about the group of people who took out billions from Georgia, and there is no mention of any instructions in the resolution of the European Commission. Can you imagine if there were 100 Bidzin Ivanishvilis in Georgia, and they did the same for our country, what would our country be like today?" - noted Indzhiya.

"Don't play with us, we're not in kindergarten. We know what is happening, and why it is done," said the deputy, addressing the members of the majority.

Speaking about the status of a candidate in the EU, Fridon Indzhiya believes that Georgia has already received the status of a candidate, as it submitted an official application for it.
