"You couldn't choose a suitable ambassador to France who would act in the interests of our state... If you can't work, go home."

The head of the opposition political group "European Socialists" Fridon Indzhiya addressed the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, Vladimir Konstantinidis, at the meeting of the Parliamentary Committee on Diaspora and Caucasus.

According to the deputy, the inaction of the ambassador to France is causing damage to the affairs of the Georgian state, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs was unable to present a new candidate for the post of ambassador.

"If you draw conclusions from some issues, it will be good, because when you appear before the Parliament again, there will be no more such a warm conversation. Do your work, and if you can't, go home. Для такой страны как Франция, не больший приветствующий посла, не больший приходную нужную кандидуру, все вы, кого это гачество, не больший программы данный вопрос. In such an important country, there is no ambassador who would act in the interest of the state. This applies to you", — declared the deputy of Indzhiya.

For his part, the deputy minister of foreign affairs noted that the ambassador of Georgia to France is already in withdrawal mode, and the leadership of the department has a motivation and a decision to strengthen and activate the direction of France.

"In this format, it will be difficult for me to evaluate the ambassador's work, but I will say that, perhaps, a new candidate will be nominated in the near future. We hope that the new candidacy will justify your expectations and the expectations of all others. France is an important area that requires special attention, is more or less a skeptical country and requires additional work. Therefore, the leadership of the ministry has a very strong motivation and determination to strengthen this direction," Konstantinidi emphasized.
