"Today's discussion in the Parliament of the draft resolution on the integration of Georgia into the EU is the most important political act, which is of great importance not only for our country and the region of the South Caucasus, but also for those territories that we temporarily lost", - the head of the parliament said at the plenary session. Opposition political group "European Socialists" Fridon Indzhiya.
According to the deputy, it is very important that any EU member country takes responsibility to lead the process of Georgia's accession to the European Union.
"We could apply and propose that any country that is a member of the EU should take over the leadership of the process of Georgia's accession to the EU. In this process, it is possible to involve several countries that will stand by us and support Georgia", said Fridon Indzhiya.
At the same time, the head of the political group emphasized the need for active participation in this process of friendship groups with the Parliaments of other countries.
