🇬🇪 🇪🇺 Georgia's accession to the European Union is crucial for Georgia's future, to take its rightful place in the region.

🔹 The chairman of the parliamentary political group "European Socialists" Fridon Injia, regarding the issue of Georgia's accession to the European Union, comes up with an initiative to create a temporary inter-departmental state committee under the leadership of Prime Minister Irakli Gharibashvili.

🔹 As Fridon Injia stated at the plenary session of the Parliament of Georgia, this type of commission should be given extraordinary powers, which will be approved by the country's legislative body.

🔹 "An important event took place in the history of Georgia. We have received a questionnaire, after providing the answers, the European Union will draw an appropriate conclusion on the extent to which Georgia can be granted the status of a candidate for membership in the European Union", Fridon Injia said at the plenary session.

🔹 "I presented that a temporary interdepartmental state committee or commission should be created on this issue, which, of course, would be headed by the Prime Minister and the ruling party. I believe that this commission should be given extraordinary powers, which will be approved by the parliament, in order to carry out all the necessary measures in the shortest possible time", said Fridon Injia.

🔹 According to him, Georgia's accession to the European Union is crucial for Georgia's future, to take its rightful place in the region.

🔹 "We were given a unique chance and we should not miss this unique chance. Everyone who can should participate in this, in order to speed up this process", said Fridon Injia.

🔹The deputy addressed some representatives of the opposition and urged them to be involved in the process of reconstruction of the country.

🔹 "I want to address some representatives of the opposition. There are many educated, responsible people among them. I hope they will soon be freed from certain obligations and join the people who really want to join the European Union", said Fridon Injia.
