An emergency operational headquarters should be established in the country - Fridon Injia

👉 An emergency, operational headquarters should be created in the country - Fridon Eng

🔹 The chairman of the parliamentary political group "European Socialists" Fridon Injia believes that it is necessary to create an emergency, operational headquarters in the state, a council that will prepare for the cataclysms that may be caused by the difficult situation created in the world today.

🔹 Fridon Injia announced this on the live broadcast of "Georgian Times" TV.

🔹 "I announced this at the plenary session of the Parliament and I want to emphasize once again that it is necessary to create an operational headquarters or a council. In order for the state to prepare for the cataclysms that the country may face due to the current events, we will definitely face this challenge" - said Fridon Injia.

🔹 According to him, there is a war in Europe and no one knows how things will develop. The war has already affected many things, including in Georgia. Therefore, Fridon Injia believes that the state should focus all its efforts on the Ministry of Agriculture.

🔹 "Despite the inflation, the increase in food prices in the country, changes are already taking place. Therefore, it is necessary to hold a spare. First of all, if the state has any reserves, everything should be addressed to the Ministry of Agriculture. There is a new minister there now. I think he will manage. I have had conversations with him and he is very qualified and knows his stuff. All resources should go to the agricultural sector, so that not a single hectare of land remains unused and uncultivated. The state should support the peasant. The government should help farmers with cultivators and diesel fuel. This will be a great relief for them," said Fridon Injia.

🔹 The second issue that the MP drew attention to is mineral fertilizers, which are produced in Georgia, and in his opinion, due to the difficult situation at this stage, their export abroad should be stopped.

🔹 "Our factory in Rustavi produces mineral fertilizers. I believe that its export abroad should be stopped. Because today, due to the current situation, mineral fertilizers cannot be brought into Georgia anymore. Therefore, the fertilizer produced in Georgia should be used in Georgia, and the state should support the producers in this so that they do not suffer losses. The same should be said about the Agar sugar factory. It is important to take the right steps on the part of the state, because there may be a large food shortage in Georgia and we may find ourselves in a difficult situation. That's why everything has to be done on time," said Fridon Injia.

🔹 On his part, Fridon Injia addressed the population and noted that now it is very important to stand by each other.

🔹 "I want to tell the population that we should stand next to each other and overcome these difficulties that await us together, put aside our grudges against each other and look at the matter because the situation can get worse and worse," said Fridon Injia. According to him, there is inflation, because the sums that Georgians were collecting from different countries have decreased.

🔹 "If a year ago, regardless of the pandemic, part of the population went to work in Europe, in particular, mainly in Poland, now there are about 2 million refugees and there are not so many jobs. Some went to Turkey, now the rate of inflation there is almost 100%... so now the most important thing is that we have to take care of our country here, find ways to not leave uncultivated land and the government to support the rural population. Let's do everything so that we don't start provocations and there are no such provocations that might lead to a big confrontation", said Fridon Injia.
