The political party "European Socialists" continues its party activities in full compliance with the law

The political party "European Socialists" does not agree with the story aired on January 17 on the TV company "Main Channel" about the fact that the party does not have a registration certificate and this somehow hinders their activities in terms of constructive opposition activities.

"The founding congress of the political party "European Socialists" was held on January 9 of this year in full compliance with the law "Organic Law of Georgia on Political Union of Citizens". At the congress, the party's charter was adopted and all necessary documents were certified by a notary," the party's statement said.

The political party continues its activities and after passing the appropriate procedures in the public register, the party will be finally registered.

"On January 15 of this year, the party submitted all necessary documents to the public registry for the official registration of the party. Therefore, the public registry examines the received documentation and examines the issue of party registration in accordance with the established procedure. The party has not received a notification of any defect from the public registry," the statement said.

The members of the political party "European Socialists" state that their political activities will be conducted in the form of constructive opposition.

The political activity of "European Socialists" both in the legislature and outside it will be a constructive opposition to the authorities in relation to the most important issues for the country, such as the timely resolution of social issues. We hope that this will not be an impeding factor to officially register the party "European Socialists" in the public register" - it is mentioned in the statement.
