🔹 "Enterprises that are state-owned enterprises should not be unprofitable." Fridon Injia, Chairman of the Parliamentary Political Group "European Socialists" stated about it at the plenary sitting of the Parliament, where the deputies listened to the Minister of Finance of Georgia Lasha Khutsishvili in the format of "Minister Hour".

🔹 According to Fridon Injia, it should be ruled out that in a state where the Ministry of Finance is under its control, the Revenue Service and enterprises should be unprofitable.

"This should be one of the most important issues for the state, and if an investigation is needed, it should be discussed by the parliament together with the Ministry of Finance. The heads of state-owned enterprises, whose activities cause the state to suffer hundreds of millions in losses, must resign. "I'm sure there are a lot of IPs in the state-owned enterprise, and I do not think these IPs are unprofitable," said Fridon Injia.

🔹As noted by the chairman of the political group, the state received a loss of 630 million GEL from the railway, while the loss from the water supply company amounted to 205 million GEL.

🔹 According to him, at the plenary session, information was voiced by the Minister of Finance that it seemed that the state should bear the capital costs in such enterprises.

🔹 "That is, the state must pay the capital expenses of the unprofitable enterprise from the budget. In the end, it turns out that this venture is unprofitable. I think such a thing should be ruled out, "said Fridon Injia.
