Fridon Injia believes that there is no alternative to direct dialogue without a mediator

🔹 Fridon Injia, chairman of the European Socialist parliamentary group, believes that there is no alternative to direct dialogue without a mediator.

👉 Fridon Injia stated this at a press conference in the Supreme Legislature, where he addressed the Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Gharibashvili on behalf of the "European Socialists" on the need for a direct dialogue with the Russian Federation.

🔹 "All intermediaries, even if we take commercial activities, first of all go out of their interests. The same is true in politics. There is no country that participates in the negotiations and does not put the interests of its country. "We are saying that we need to talk to the Russian Federation directly, and it is clear from the recent response of the United States and NATO that they are primarily concerned with their own interests," Fridon Injia said.

🔹 The chairman of the parliamentary political group believes that no one can ever protect Georgia's interests as Georgia itself.

🔹 "As the son of our country, no one can protect our interests. "Therefore, we must call on our government, our government, to be personally responsible and to protect the interests of the country, and this must happen without a mediator," - said Fridon Injia.
