First of all, thank you very much for the peace that reigns in Georgia today and your great efforts in this.

🔸 Here my colleague said that the Ministry of Internal Affairs is one of the most important agencies and directions in the country. I would add that the most important agencies in the country are: the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the field of education and the medical field.
Nevertheless, I believe that the Ministry of Internal Affairs is one of the most fundamental agencies for the country, it is the face of the country.

I heard the figures that you gave today regarding drug dealers, that there were 202 arrests of drug dealers. In my opinion, this is a very disturbing number and I think that we should not limit ourselves to naming numbers here. It is necessary to have a specific plan here, which will contribute to the prevention of crime," said Fridon Injia.

🔸 The chairman of the political group noted in his speech that it would be expedient to sign a special memorandum with the Ministry of Education, which would provide lectures by successful police officers for students in schools;

🔸 "Is there a memorandum or agreement or similar with the Ministry of Education of Georgia?"
For example, I would sign an agreement with the Ministry of Education and undertake that in every school your representative, a successful police officer, would give lectures in different directions in the upper classes.

🔸 This will be very important for the police, students and our young people, who may choose this direction as a profession." - said Fridon Injia.

🔸 The MP drew attention to the issue of more popularization of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the employees of the agency in general, because in his opinion, the public is not fully aware of the agency's activities.

🔸 "There is a website of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, where there are beautiful programs, but the main layer of society does not know about it and it is not accessible to them.
In my opinion, these programs and MIA employees lack promotion. It will be programs on a special channel, filming of movies, or the appearance of police officers on billboards. This will be somewhat of a motivation for police officers and investigators.

🔸 However, the motivation, in my opinion, is primarily funding, and at this time, some of our colleagues say that we should limit entry into the state. Conditionally, the entry of 100 people into Georgia is one million imported amount, and if it were not for this factor, the profit that the state received in the form of an increase in the previous year would not really have been there", said the deputy.

🔸 Fridon Injia called on Vakhtang Gomelauri from the tribune of the Parliament to act based on the rule of law, which will make his activities more effective and his authority will be much higher.

🔸 "Certain forces oppose everything and want to change the current government. Their actions are aimed at preventing progress and development in Georgia. Therefore, you have to do everything the law provides, and if there is rule of law from your side, your price will be much higher," said Fridon Injia.

🔸 The chairman of the political group came out with a proposal that public services should start working at 9 o'clock in the morning, which would help relieve traffic jams in the capital.

🔸 "One more issue, in this case, I would like to ask you as the head of the government and not as the minister of internal affairs. Please voice my proposal at the government meeting and let the government adopt a resolution that all government institutions start working at 9 a.m. This decision will relieve the city. Believe me, if all state institutions start working at 9 o'clock in the morning, the city will be relieved." - said Fridon Injia.

🔹"When adopting the law on non-governmental organizations, the maximum strictness of the law should be taken into account, so that a group of 50 or 100 people does not come up with the idea of changing the government in Georgia".
🔹"It is quite possible to bring the American version of the Law on the Activities of Non-Governmental Organizations to the reality of Georgia".

🔺"On June 23 of last year, when Irakli Gharibashvili, the Prime Minister of Georgia, was in the legislative body of the country, I raised the issue that it is necessary to bring the activities of non-governmental organizations in Georgia within the framework of the law, as it is in the United States of America and many other countries.
🔺 Some non-governmental organizations have been coming out in Georgia recently and making political statements and calling for the overthrow of the government. Therefore, I put on the agenda the issue of the need to frame the activities of non-governmental organizations within the framework of the law.
🔺It's good that 8 months after my announcement, the group that left "Georgian Dreams" initiated this draft law (the draft law on the transparency of foreign influence) in the form of "People's Power".
🔺I believe that it is possible to bring the American law into our reality. Of course, we will vote for this law, taking into account the amendments that will be included in it, and here, first of all, the maximum strictness of the law should be taken into account, so that a group of 50 or 100 people does not come up with the idea of changing the government in Georgia." - said Fridon Injia.
🔺The deputy also commented on the statement of the country's president, Salome Zurabishvili, according to which the president does not rule out using the right of veto in connection with the bill initiated by the "people's power".
"The president's statement is absolutely unacceptable to me, so I will not comment on his statement. If he blocks this law, I think today's parliament will have the power to override the president's veto." - noted Fridon Injia.

🔴 Loss or transfer of 20% territories of Georgia should not go unpunished

🔷 "I want to return to the issue that we voiced regarding the creation of an investigative commission regarding the August 2008 war.

🔷 In the last two years, we raised this issue several times from the rostrum of the Parliament and through the media.

🔷 Society needs to establish the truth of what really happened and answer all the questions that society is interested in. We must give an answer to those 408 people who died in the war.
There are evaluations of various international organizations or commissions regarding the August 2008 war, including Talavini's conclusion. Therefore, there are different views in this regard in the society. Therefore, in order to put an end to different visions and opinions and to let the public know what actually happened, it is necessary to create this commission.

🔷 It is important for the population to know why we lost 20% of the country's territory, whether it was possible to avoid this biggest loss for the country, what did they advise and indicate to Saakashvili at that time, including our international partners?

🔷 Who and what role played in the conclusion of the tripartite ceasefire agreement, on whose orders and why did more than 1000 Georgian soldiers leave the Kodori valley without a fight, how much military equipment was written off after the war, and in general, was this equipment available and where was it located? ?

🔷 From the side of Georgia, apart from the authorized persons, who participated in making decisions, why did we leave Akhalgori, why did we leave the wounded and the dead on the battlefield? Who is responsible for this?

🔷 Loss of 20% territories of Georgia, if the transfer is not allowed, and this should not go unpunished". - said Fridon Injia.

🔷 According to the statement of the chairman of the political group, was there a place for adjusting the bombing on strategic objects or highways vital for the country in favor of the opposing party?

🔷 "There is a fact according to which the communication cable of strategic importance for the country, which passed through Gori and connected Georgia with the outside world, was destroyed several times.

🔷 At the cost of impossible self-sacrifice and risk, with the help of specialists from Mtskheti and Khashuri, it was possible to pull this cable directly from the fire, and it was carried out on the electricity poles and the connection was restored.

🔷 Why did this happen in the place where the most important cable connecting to the outside world passed? Who was the coordinator of this? Who worked on these issues? …

🔷 There are many more issues that worry our society and are waiting to be answered.
The events of the August 2008 war were a rehearsal and continue today. If it were not for the current government, the situation in the entire territory of Georgia would be like it is now in many cities of Ukraine.

🔷 The people who started the war of August 2008 are coming out with rhetoric about the opening of the second front in Georgia, and this should be put to an end" - said Fridon Injia.
