"I think that the president has decided to go to the opposition himself" - Fridon Injia

According to the chairman of the political party "European Socialists" Fridon Injia, President Salome Zurabishvili will act as a mediator and will come to talk with the opposition.
Fridon Injia told journalists about this when he answered the question why the opposition part did not attend the event held in the President's administration, where the opposition members were invited by Salome Zurabishvili.
"The president's job today is to be a mediator between state institutions, between the majority and the minority, not mediators who come from Europe. This is precisely the president's business. I'm glad the president took that as a guideline. I had a conversation with the president, who said that "I will definitely handle this case, I will reconcile the people."
It seemed to me and I also think that the president has decided to go to the opposition himself. Approximately, such a conversation was in a private conversation. He will get there himself. I think so, because there is no other way to be a mediator if one side does not come and the other side does. Therefore, the president is the president of the country, despite the fact that he does not have much power, what he has is more than enough to really be a mediator in our society", states Fridon Injia.
An event was held in the administration of the president, where Salome Zurabishvili awarded Data Vanishvili posthumously with a medal "for civic sacrifice". Representatives of the opposition were invited to the event.
