The Chairman of the Parliamentary Political Group “European Socialists” Fridon Injia appeals to the Georgian government to find an abandoned house for refugees from Ukraine in the villages of Georgia, which will be given to them temporarily, so that the Georgian man will pay his debt .
Fridon Injia stated about it at the plenary session of the Parliament, where the Minister of Environment Protection and Agriculture Otar Shamugia was heard in the format of “Minister Hour”.

Fridon Injia addressed Otar Shamugia from the parliamentary tribune with his team and took the lead by standing by the side of the rural municipalities.

“In almost every village there are abandoned houses. Provide assistance to refugees from Ukraine as much as we can. With this we will do the job of Georgia as well. The lands will be cultivated, the people will be added and there will be a beautiful Ukrainian family in the village, which will be taken care of by the whole village. This is how they will be strengthened in the countryside and if they are not strengthened, we will still owe a debt to the Georgian man, and I am sure that they will be satisfied with that. “It was like that, my friends, during the Second World War, when there was a difficult period, and whole groups of Ukrainians came to Georgia, where we built white (so-called Ukrainian icon) houses in Abkhazia and they still live there,” Fridon Injia said.
Regarding this issue, as the MP noted at the sitting, he addresses not only the Minister of Environment and Agriculture, but also the Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Gharibashvili.

“Let us stand by our brothers in need in this difficult situation, the refugees from Ukraine, and you, as the Minister of Agriculture, will lead this work together with the rural municipalities, and if we need help, we will do everything for it,” said Fridon Injia.
