The Vice-Speaker of the Parliament of Georgia, Avtandil Enukidze, believes that the current speculations about the war of August 2008 should be put to an end once and for all.

At the press conference held in the country’s highest legislative body, the chairman of the parliamentary political group “European Socialists” Fridon Injia made a statement about the creation of a temporary investigative commission of the parliament regarding the war of August 2008.

“This topic has been discussed for years and one side blames the other. I believe that this issue should be put to an end once and for all, and the country will finally know who is guilty and this speculation will be eliminated. In a way, this will be a warning to the government that such a crime is unacceptable,” said Avtandil Enukidze.
