🔹 “Whoever wants to change the government in Georgia and cannot do it through elections, the only way remains – destabilization. Destabilization is possible when cataclysms occur, and you are on the side of war.”

🔹 This was stated by the chairman of the parliamentary political group “European Socialists” Fridon Injia on the live broadcast of “Alt-Info” TV.

🔹 According to the MP, unlike the part of the radical opposition, he does not see traces of Russia in the slogans “city of peace” or “country of peace”, because Russia is waging war in Ukraine, and it is not a country of peace in this case. Besides, if there is no peace in Georgia, there will be no economic growth, which is attractive to many other states today.

🔹 “You can imagine, the Russian army is stationed in some places, 150 meters from the central highway, and if someone from the military leadership there gets into his head and moves 150 meters, Georgia will be divided into two… Eastern Georgia can be divided again, Western Georgia is already divided. This will be the destabilization that will help interested parties to take over the country. Therefore, this slogan and the peace that exists in Georgia are attractive to all countries in our neighborhood. There is a state in the Caucasus region where there has been no war since 2008. Today in Georgia, peace is the most valuable thing – you go out into the city and you don’t have to fear that the alarm siren will go off, and you have to seek shelter somewhere, or you won’t have electricity or water, you can’t go where you want… This is a situation that many countries dream of today.” – noted Fridon Injia.
