The foreign policy of the National Bank is tied to the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund, and without their permission, many things become impossible, and here a lot of maneuvering is needed for the National Bank to maintain banking sovereignty, which is one of the foundations of the country’s and state’s sovereignty. If the National Bank has sovereignty, then the country has great power,” said Fridon Injia.

🔷 According to the deputy, the government of Georgia should find a mechanism that will solve the problem in the banking system and present it to the international financial organizations arguing that this decision is in the interests of the population of Georgia.

🔷 “The state should be involved in fixing all the problems where there are problems. It will be the banking sector, pharmaceutical activities or many other areas, for which the state should take responsibility.

🔷 Every year, commercial banks have a profit of more than 2 billion. If we are a social state, the state should be involved in solving these issues and regulate it,” the MP believes.

🔷 Fridon Injia also spoke about the creation of a digital bank in Georgia, which, according to the deputy, will contribute to healthy competition with commercial banks and proper development of the banking system in general.

🔷 “I will give you a simple example. When we make a transfer abroad, or a financial operation, it takes three working days, and with a digital transfer, it will be possible in 5-10 minutes.

🔷 In the case of the digital banking system, there is also a significant discount regarding the commission amount. The creation of a digital banking system will contribute to the demonopolization of the banking sector, thereby creating an environment of healthy competition and the banking system will develop in the right direction. To further simplify banking operations, with the digital banking system, an electronic identity card can be used.” – noted Fridon Injia.

🔷 According to the deputy, of course, opponents of the digital banking system will be commercial banks, or all commercial banks require a license to switch to a digital banking system, and this is where the state and the National Bank should be involved with their correct policy. In such a case, many issues will be resolved for the benefit of the population.

🔷 “I hope that the leadership of the National Bank, together with the legislative body, will be involved in solving these issues. I believe that there is nothing much to be decided here, the main thing is the political will and the involvement of professionals. 🔷 Why did you allow this? If you are in the majority, be kind enough to respond, you should have done so and now you are backing off. Everything that is happening now could have been avoided if you had taken a principled position from the beginning.

🔷 During these almost 3 years, there was an imperfect election commission. How can the chairman of the CEC be at the tribune every 6 months and go through the approval-disapproval process.
Nevertheless, during these 3 years, there was not a single issue of principle in the Election Commission, which was problematic.
🔷 Absolutely all issues were resolved by mutual agreement. During this time, there was no disagreement as to how many local or intermediate elections were held.” – said the deputy
🔷 Regarding the 9 recommendations of the European Commission, on which the Parliament is systematically debating and discussions are held every week, according to Fridon Injia, the year 2030 has been named in connection with the expansion of the European Union. Accordingly, there are 6 more years ahead. From this, according to the MP, after 6 years most probably the recommendations presented today will no longer be relevant. All the more if we take into account the intensity with which the geopolitical situation in the world is changing. Therefore, the chairman of the political group appeals to the government to do its work only based on the interests of the country and the people.

🔷 Therefore, we can make these 9 recommendations during this time, and I doubt that at the end of 6 years, or even 5 years, the recommendations from the European Commission will be the same as today. Like the EU, things are changing around the world especially lately. Therefore, no one knows what will be left of these 9 recommendations at the end of 6 years.

🔷 In his speech, the chairman of the political group focused on the fact that the government did not respond to the letters sent by the opposition parties, which, in his opinion, is unacceptable, and in this regard they can take an example from the new Prime Minister, Irakli Kobakhidze, who gives qualified and convincing answers to all questions.
🔷 According to the chairman of the political group, it is necessary for the government to devote a significant amount of time to the adoption of the law on defamation. Also, the issue of transparency of financing of non-governmental organizations should be placed on the agenda again, and in general they should act only in the interests of the country.

🔷 Slanders and the spread of misinformation have become more and more widespread, and this raises the controversy and polarization even higher.
🔷 We can expect destabilizing actions such as subversive acts and so on. Let’s remember the 14 kilograms of explosives that were traveling on the territory of Georgia. Thank God, we survived, and the population was not harmed.

🔷 The parliament should return to the adoption of the draft law, which refers to the transparency of the financing of non-governmental organizations, which is being discussed in the European Union and in a number of countries. We should not receive information about the funding of these organizations from other countries and from various hidden sources. It should be transparent to the entire population, who breathes what.

🔷 One of the main requirements of the 9-point condition of the European Union is the fight against disinformation and defamation. Citizens of Georgia – statesmen and politicians – have repeatedly become victims of misinformation and slander. Therefore, I believe that it is precisely in our country that these insulting and defamatory actions should be put to an end, if the targeted campaign should be regulated and prevented once and for all at the legislative level.

🔷 Isn’t it slander when Georgian government is called Russian? or other anti-government statements that I think should be banned.

🔷 Ms. Salome’s statement that we should expect Russia to interfere in our parliamentary elections, what does this mean? Does this statement mean to facilitate and speed up the opening of the second front in Georgia? It is a provocative statement for both the Russian side and the Georgian government.

🔷 Is this grist to the mill of those radical forces in Russia and provokes those who occupied 20 percent of the territory of Georgia?! With which forces “National Movement” acted and alienated the lands of Georgia in 2008 in such a close and coordinated manner. They are still closely connected with these forces.

🔷 Does the opening of the second front (what does it matter, who will open the second front, the side of Georgia or the side of Russia?) mean shedding blood in Georgia and turning Georgian cities and villages into Nazareth? A clear example of this is the events in Ukraine.

🔷 Do such statements mean provoking tension and unrest in Georgia?
Should we think about Ms. Salome’s anti-state statements made during her anti-constitutional trip? Was the statement of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Poland about the release of the criminal Saakashvili, which was met so calmly by Mrs. Salome, pre-arranged?

🔷 I cannot call the statements of the President of Georgia Salome Zurabishvili anything else, which she has been deliberately making against Georgia for at least the last two years.

🔷 I believe that all his statements are anti-state, anti-national, and his so-called trips abroad are directly aimed at discrediting the Georgian state and government.

🔷 Based on all these actions, the only thing left is for the Georgian people to prohibit Salome Zurabishvili from crossing the border of Georgia in order to prevent anti-state actions, especially if we take into account that the Constitutional Court has already accused the country’s president of violating the Supreme Law of Georgia, the Constitution.

🔷 Unfortunately, this decision of the Constitutional Court does not provide for leaving the state, although I know that it is impossible to implement it in this situation. I think that not only Mrs. Salome should think, but all those who are planning to gather in the so-called “New Fanchaturi”.
