🔹Chairman of the parliamentary political group “European Socialists” Fridon Injia and representatives of the political group met with the Deputy Minister of Finance Giorgi Kakauridze regarding the 2023 state budget bill of Georgia.
🔹 Regarding the initial draft of the country’s main financial document for next year, the first deputy minister of finance, Giorgi Kakauridze, presented information to the representatives of the parliamentary political group “European Socialists”.
🔹 Giorgi Kakauridze provided the members of the parliamentary political group with information on the main parameters of the state budget, introduced macroeconomic and economic growth forecasts and talked about the amount of funds allocated to state agencies and the programs and projects on which the mentioned funds are planned to be spent.
🔹 “We believe that the funding of education and the Ministry of Science should increase even more. Resources should be allocated in the budget for the promotion of science. Science must be developed, and for this, more support from the state is needed. We also believe that the financing of the Ministry of Agriculture should be increased and more investments should be made there than what is determined today. We have an initiative to create a state investment commercial bank that will finance various programs such as “Make in Georgia” and others. It will be a kind of social program aimed at the well-being of the population,” said the chairman of the parliamentary political group “European Socialists” Fridon Injia.
