🔷 According to the chairman of the political group, as soon as the issue of filing a lawsuit in the Constitutional Court regarding the facts of violation of the country’s constitution by President Zurabishvili was on the agenda, based on the existing arguments, the political team of “European Socialists” immediately noted that if the Constitutional Court would adopt a resolution according to which the President’s Regarding the violation of the constitution, the deputation of the political group supported the impeachment of Zurabishvili.

As for the question of whether 100 deputies will gather in the parliament and vote for the impeachment of the president, the point is that in principle, if there is no political aspect and political claim, based on the ruling of the Constitutional Court, everyone should vote for the impeachment of the president. But, since this is a political part, politicians may not vote for the impeachment of the president at their own discretion or at the request of their party.
