What should be done in order for the court to increase its confidence?!" - Fridon Injia's questions to the candidates

What should be done in order for the court to increase its confidence?!" - the questions of the chairman of the parliamentary political group "European Socialists" Fridon Injia to the candidates for the position of judge.

In the Parliament of Georgia, interviews with the candidates for the position of Supreme Court judge have started

The Legal Committee of the Parliament interviewed two candidates, Gocha Abuseridze and Giorgi Gogiashvili.

Fridon Injia's statement regarding the events surrounding "Tbilisi Pride".

Dear compatriots, sisters and brothers, fathers, mothers and children!

Georgia is a country of great culture and history. He has always been distinguished by his tolerance and tolerance. For centuries, representatives of different nationalities, religions and minorities lived peacefully next to each other. The tradition has not been broken even today. Moreover, their rights are constitutionally strengthened and the state shows special attention and care to them, and this is proof that Georgia is a country of European civilized, democratic values.

We understand very well that if the state is formed and developed, all its members should feel like full-fledged citizens and live in a consensual society - the rights of one cannot be violated for the benefit of one.

Today, our country faces many challenges, both inside the country and in the foreign arena. Added to this is the situation due to Covid-19. And the destructive opposition in the country, instead of thinking about overcoming these problems, does not allow an opportunity to aggravate the situation, plunge the country into chaos and disorder, and catch fish in murky water.

Regarding the holding of "Tbilisi Pride", the mood of the public was known from the beginning, and the organizers of the Pride and the radical opposition behind them were repeatedly called by the government and individual politicians to refrain from holding such an event in order to avoid the expected civil conflict and unrest.

Indeed, representatives of the clergy and thousands of citizens came out on the main avenue of Tbilisi to register their protest against the holding of Pride. Despite the professional action of the law enforcement agencies, it turned out to be insufficient, and unfortunately there were cases of violence, including against journalists. We categorically condemn and disassociate ourselves from such violence, but we hold the authorities and those forces who did not take into account the created situation to be responsible.

Georgia is the share of the Mother of God, a country with a unique culture, genetic code, religious confession, and a special mission. We should always remember this, we should take care of all this, each other, and the nation and the monk should work together for common agreement and the future.

May God protect Georgia and each of us!

"The population should be strengthened in the regions, in rural areas, and in this regard support should be provided by the state" - Injia

"European Socialists" as an important issue He recommended us Solving the problems of the socially vulnerable population, which is more than half a million in Georgia, and children are among them. - about this

"European socialists" believe that the population should be strengthened in the regions, rural areas, and in this regard, support should be provided by the state. A 10-year program is good, and the state should, of course, have a 10-year plan for the country's development, but a short-term, say, 3-year plan is also necessary. Which peasant will you tell? Here, we have a 10-year program, and in this period there will be something in the 8th or 9th year. Let's not fool ourselves. I cannot agree with you.

Today, the village needs a processing industry, enterprises, and the state should do this. Governors and mayors should be involved in this. They should be responsible for the social situation in the municipalities where they are elected by the people.
