📍 Chairman of the political group “European Socialists” of the Parliament of Georgia Fridon Injia called the decision of the Constitutional Court of Georgia unprecedented on October 16, according to which 9 judges of the Constitutional Court accused the country’s president Salome Zurabishvili of violating the Constitution of Georgia.
🔷”I want to draw your attention to the Constitutional Court and the judicial system of Georgia in general. The current judicial system is what it is, and if any political party wants to change it, come to power and correct the shortcomings that exist in the judicial system today. Of course, there are flaws in the judicial system and there will always be, but the main thing is that life goes on and the country develops. The judicial system and the constitutional court have changed a thousand times since the previous government and it has become much better,” said Fridon Injia.
🔷 The chairman of the political group believes that there was nothing to be decided by the Constitutional Court, because the fact of violation of the Constitution of Georgia was clear on the part of President Zurabishvili.
🔷 “At this time, we are talking about how unfair the decision was made by the Constitutional Court. There was nothing much to decide from the side of the court, because the fact of violation of the constitution by the president was already clear. The Constitution was violated and the Constitutional Court made a decision about it, and it must be said that one of the unprecedented decisions was made by the Constitutional Court.” – noted Fridon Injia.
🔷 The deputy called on his colleagues to refrain from anti-state statements, which can only bring harm to the country.
🔷 “We often reach out to Europe. Europe, with its policy, brought the matter to the point that the growth of the gross domestic product in Europe is between 0.5% and 0%, while the domestic product of Georgia is more than 7 and 7%.
Let’s not make such anti-state statements and let’s not take such steps that will damage the future development of Georgia and reduce the achieved success to zero,” said Fridon Injia.

🔷 Chairman of the political group “European Socialists” of the Parliament of Georgia, Fridon Injia, at the meeting of the Diaspora and Caucasus Affairs Committee of the Parliament, positively evaluated the project presented by the committee in the form of thematic research entitled – “Involvement of the Diaspora for the Development of Georgia and Attracting Sustainable Capital of the Diaspora”.
🔷 According to the chairman of the political group, today Georgia occupies a special place in the Caucasus region due to its geopolitical situation, and therefore it is very important to involve representatives of the Georgian diaspora in energy projects and economic projects.
🔷 “On the grounds that various important economic projects will be implemented in our country and jobs will be created, we can attract and return part of our diaspora. In this regard, it will be important to develop a special program in parallel with the implementation of energy trains and economic projects, which will become a prerequisite for guaranteed jobs for representatives of our diaspora.
🔷 This will be the correct state approach. What I believe should become one of the main tasks of the government,” said Fridon Injia.

📍 Chairman of the parliamentary political group “European Socialists” Fridon Injia, at the meeting of the Legal Affairs Committee of the Parliament of Georgia, drew attention to the need for financial support from the state for single mothers and large families.
🔷 According to Fridon Injia, one of the priority directions for the country’s government should be to solve the demographic problem, for which it is important to carry out the correct budget policy in the state.
🔷 The chairman of the political group believes that the Parliament of Georgia should contribute to the solution of this problem and the proper management of the process with legislative initiatives, and the government, and in particular, the Ministry of Finance, with the correct planning of the budget.
🔷 At today’s session of the Legal Affairs Committee, the First Deputy Minister of Finance Giorgi Kakauridze presented the 2024 state budget project.
🔷 At the meeting of the committee, the deputy came up with an initiative that the state should provide financial assistance to Georgian citizens over 30 years old who decide to have a child. With this, single mothers will feel supported by the state.
🔷 “I think it is important to provide financial support from the state to single mothers and families with many children. With this, our citizens will feel supported by the state. You know very well that the population of Georgia is decreasing every year, and I believe that the state, with its budgetary policy, should implement measures that will contribute to the improvement of the population’s demographic situation. In this regard, the return of immigrants to the state and their financial support from the state is also very important. Parliament should support this process with a legislative initiative, and the Ministry of Finance with proper budget planning.
🔷 You don’t see this problem? Otherwise, years will pass and Georgia will no longer exist and will be left alone with certain financial resources of the Ministry of Finance, which are not used to solve the most important demographic issue in the country”, said Fridon Injia.

📍 Chairman of the parliamentary political group “European Socialists” Fridon Injia and members of the political group will support the impeachment of President Zurabishvili, if the Constitutional Court determines that Salome Zurabishvili has violated the main law of the country – the Constitution of Georgia, and this issue will be put to a vote in the highest legislative body.

🔷”If the Constitutional Court found that Salome Zurabishvili violated the Constitution of Georgia, and this issue will be raised at the plenary session, then our team will support the impeachment of President Zurabishvili. The president himself admitted that he violated the constitution. So that there will be nothing new here.” – said Fridon Injia.
🔷 According to the chairman of the political group, in order for Salome Zurabishvili to occupy a certain place in the society, she should make a decision and resign from her position.

📍 Chairman of the parliamentary political group “European Socialists” Fridon Injia, at the meeting of the Committee on Diaspora and Caucasus Affairs of the Parliament of Georgia, where the First Deputy Minister of Finance Giorgi Kakauridze presented the main parameters of the 2024 state budget, focused on the need to increase the wages of employees of the Ministries of Internal Affairs and Health.

🔷 According to Fridon Injia, the sad reality is that police officers and highly qualified workers in the health sector mostly leave the country and go to work abroad due to financial difficulties.

🔷 “I see these two important directions and I believe that the issue of increasing salaries for employees in this field should be included and taken into account in the 2024 state budget. The Ministry of Internal Affairs is one of the most important ministries on which the state can be said to stand. I want to tell you the same about the healthcare sector, whose highly qualified employees also leave the country and go to work abroad. Therefore, these two directions should be the top priority for the country’s government.” – said Fridon Injia.

🔷 The chairman of the political group believes that it is the duty of the state to support citizens who have gone abroad, especially talented and motivated young scientists, who represent the intellectual property of the state, and their return to their homeland will truly be a national matter.

🔷 “It is important, in this regard, to create a special program within the framework of which, by order of the Prime Minister, the return of young scientists to their homeland will be promoted based on the appropriate motivation. The Minister of Education should talk about this, but I am interested in this issue as a son of my country. Our youth have the potential to be actively involved in the introduction of various important technologies. The state, on its part, should support the motivation of young people as much as possible in terms of the development of important branches and fields, which is the most important component for the future of the country”. – noted Fridon Injia.
