"European Socialists' view pragmatically all issues that will not be detrimental to the country."

🔹 "The European Socialists are pragmatic in all matters that will not be detrimental to the country," Fridon Injia said.

👉 "I think the dialogue is right, it is necessary to talk," - Avtandil Enukidze, Vice Speaker of the Parliament.

👉 Pridon Injia and Avtandil Enukidze stated about it at the press conference held in the supreme legislative body, where the "European Socialists" addressed the Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Gharibashvili on the need for a direct dialogue with the Russian Federation.

🔹 Fridon Injia, chairman of the European Socialist parliamentary group, said in response to a reporter's question whether the European Socialists were embarrassed when the Ukrainian government was called upon to implement the Minsk agreement.

🔹 "What do you mean?" . I do not see any inconvenience when such countries as Poland, Germany, France, the United States call on the Ukrainian authorities to fulfill their commitments. We announced this on January 26, after which a week passed and there was not a single country in the world left in contact with these processes that did not call on the Ukrainian government to fulfill its obligations under the Minsk Agreement. I do not see any inconvenience here, "said Fridon Injia.

🔹 According to the Vice-Speaker of the Parliament of Georgia Avtandil Enukidze, it is necessary to hold a direct dialogue in order to prevent aggression.

🔹 "Why does Ukraine not feel embarrassed when the wanted Georgian government has Adeishvili as an assistant prosecutor? He needs it and he does it, right?… We need it that way. I think the dialogue is right. It is necessary to talk before you shoot. "You can see that he is throwing, there has been no dialogue so far, and we do not hope that it will work, but let's talk, show everyone that we wanted to talk, and that - war," - said Avtandil Enukidze.

Fridon Injia believes that there is no alternative to direct dialogue without a mediator

🔹 Fridon Injia, chairman of the European Socialist parliamentary group, believes that there is no alternative to direct dialogue without a mediator.

👉 Fridon Injia stated this at a press conference in the Supreme Legislature, where he addressed the Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Gharibashvili on behalf of the "European Socialists" on the need for a direct dialogue with the Russian Federation.

🔹 "All intermediaries, even if we take commercial activities, first of all go out of their interests. The same is true in politics. There is no country that participates in the negotiations and does not put the interests of its country. "We are saying that we need to talk to the Russian Federation directly, and it is clear from the recent response of the United States and NATO that they are primarily concerned with their own interests," Fridon Injia said.

🔹 The chairman of the parliamentary political group believes that no one can ever protect Georgia's interests as Georgia itself.

🔹 "As the son of our country, no one can protect our interests. "Therefore, we must call on our government, our government, to be personally responsible and to protect the interests of the country, and this must happen without a mediator," - said Fridon Injia.

Fridon Injia believes that in the last 30 years the country has accumulated a lot of issues that need to be resolved

🔹 "We can not teach the Prime Minister what should be the main issues of direct dialogue," - said the chairman of the parliamentary political group "European Socialists" Fridon Injia at a press conference, where he addressed the Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Gharibashvili on behalf of the "European Socialists" On the need for direct dialogue with the Russian Federation.
ონ Fridon Injia believes that in the last 30 years, many issues have accumulated in the country that need to be resolved.
. "The Prime Minister himself knows what issues will be important during the negotiations. We can not teach this to the Prime Minister. There have been so many issues over the course of 30 years that probably will not happen in a single day. "We are always trying to solve problems through a mediator, but for 30 years, nothing has been done through a mediator," said Fridon Injia.

Address of the "European Socialists" to the Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Gharibashvili.
🔹 Welcome everyone, good health and victory over Kovid!
. It is good that there has been no war in Georgia in the last 10 years, however, it must be said that the government and with it our international partners can not take effective steps to restore the country's territorial integrity.
მსოფლიოში Recent developments in the world, including in our region, have developed at such a rapid pace that we are facing completely different realities and challenges than we were a few years ago. For example, regarding Ukraine, at the time of the adoption of the resolution, it was January 26, our party made a statement. We called on our friendly Ukrainians that the way to avoid war would be the unconditional fulfillment of the obligations under the Minsk Agreement.
ეს This statement of our party was considered by many, including in the Parliament, inactive and lacking in need, but less than a week passed and it became clear that no leading European state was involved in this issue, which did not call on the Ukrainian authorities to implement the Minsk agreement. Finally, on this issue - on February 8, in Berlin, the leaders of Germany, France and Poland at a joint meeting stressed the need for the Ukrainian authorities to implement the Minsk agreement.
🔹 Despite the short period of its existence, our political party offers only constructive proposals to the society and the government and concrete ways of fulfilling these proposals, and is not busy with populist, cheap statements. That is why, today, in the interests of Georgia and the existing new political realities, I will introduce you to the special statement of the political party "European Socialists" and the appeal to the government.
🔹 Today, the most important political processes are taking place in the world, including in our region and in Georgia. The current events in the world, which are related to the guarantees of global security, directly affect the fundamental interests of our country and its security.
Due to the new reality of the global security system, which is changing every minute, Georgia is given a unique chance to protect the vital interests of its country, given the challenges and problems that the country has been facing for the last 30 years. We mean that the government, without a mediator, acts in the format of a direct dialogue, for which there is no alternative today.
No one can protect the interests of our country better than us. As all countries that defend the interests of their country do. In particular, America, France, Germany, Hungary, Argentina, Sweden, Finland, China and others.
. It is known that the current Georgian government is not to blame for creating the difficult political situation that has plagued Georgia in the 21st century. We also believe that the current government is able to protect the interests of the country at all levels and in all formats, despite the severe pressures we face today, and we see every day how the sovereign interests of our country are being violated.
Given these unique opportunities that Georgia may not be given in the future, and not using this chance for our country would be an irreparable mistake, tantamount to betrayal. History shows that such mistakes and betrayals, especially recently, have been quite numerous in our country and have cost us dearly.
The political party "European Socialists" appeals to the Prime Minister of Georgia, Mr. Irakli Gharibashvili, to personally start a direct dialogue with the Russian Federation at the negotiating table, as is done by the leaders of the world and a number of European countries. We call the same for the President of Ukraine.
🔹 We think that the government and the Prime Minister, through their diplomatic actions, which they have shown during the Azerbaijan-Armenia conflict, and through the usual principle, through direct dialogue, will be able to find optimal solutions to these difficult and important issues for the benefit of our people. Jam will unite and stand by the Prime Minister in fulfilling the most difficult mission.
. We hope that the diplomatic corps and international organizations accredited in Georgia will assist the government and the Prime Minister in carrying out this vital mission for the country.
We are sure that the population of Georgia welcomes this!

The chairman of the European Socialists, Fridon Injia, met with Sven Mixer, an MEP

დ The Chairman of the Parliamentary Political Group "European Socialists" Fridon Injia focused on the current socio-economic issues in the country during a meeting with a Member of the European Parliament, Rapporteur on Georgia's Sven Mixer, who is paying an official visit to Georgia.
შეხვედრა The meeting of the chairmen and members of the parliamentary opposition factions and political groups in the supreme legislative body of the country was held with the European Parliament, the rapporteur on Georgia, Sven Mikser.
. "Our goal is to improve the socio-economic situation of the country. "We look at this pragmatically and we believe that the country should do everything to achieve the goal," Fridon Injia said at the meeting.
According to the chairman of the political group, due to the geographical location of Georgia, the country's foreign policy should be multi-vector.
🔹 “Given our geographical location, the country's foreign policy should be multi-vector. Of course, the priorities should be European values, such as the rule of law, technology, the European market, "- said Fridon Injia.
. The chairperson of the political group highlighted the main problems in the country at the meeting.

"Our problems are: the rule of law; Parliamentary oversight - inefficiency; Ineffective social programs; Monopolization of the banking sector; Pharmaceutical field; "Energy" - said Fridon Injia.
🔹 “There are many problems. The Georgian political class has an inability to exercise the rule of law. Insult is a weakness of a politician… Society is polarized and what to do about this polarization? "I wonder if there is a punishment for defamation in Estonia?" Fridon Injia said at the meeting.
🔹 The chairman of the political group addressed Sven Mixer at the meeting with a question about the events in Ukraine, when the current tensions will end, to which the MEP stated that he does not know about it.

თავმჯდომ The Chairman of the Political Group focused on the resolution adopted by the Parliament of Georgia in support of Ukraine.
. "I think that the adoption of the resolution was hasty, especially when they are silent. Estonia did not adopt the resolution. "Ukraine did not adopt the resolution in 2008 either, when we faced the fact and lost our territories," Fridon Injia said at the meeting.
