🔹 Fridon Injia expressed grief over the difficult situation in which the population of Ukraine is today, primarily women, children and the elderly.
🔹 "Regarding the talks and meetings, I must tell you that the more meetings there are, the more opportunities and points of contact appear, and if it is at an even higher level, it will be better and can speed up the cessation of war. The war must end. Because the situation in Ukraine does not concern only Ukraine, it concerns the whole world, including Georgia," Fridon Injia said during his visit to the program.
🔹 What is the way for Ukraine to end this and not lose even more? Fridon Injia said to the journalist's question that he should continue the dialogue with Russia and not run to European countries to get weapons.
🔹 "I think, first of all, the dialogue with the Russians, that's why I said, the more meetings and dialogues there are, the more points of contact will appear," said Fridon Injia.
🔹 According to him, at the time, before the war started, he said that the only way to save Ukraine would be to fulfill the obligations under the Minsk Agreement, then these destroyed cities would not exist and Donetsk and Luhansk districts could be part of Ukraine.
🔹 "I hope that it will be so in the future. These districts would be entities with a special status. It would be salvation for Ukraine, for the people who died and for Europe. It would have been the right decision, but it has already passed into history, it will not come back, it will be under worse conditions, but as time goes by, Ukraine may find itself in a worse situation. That's why I would advise to start negotiations immediately, even at the highest level, and before that the meetings should be continued on the territory of Belarus" - said Fridon Injia.
