The head of the parliamentary opposition political group "European Socialists" Fridon Indzhiya at the plenary session of the Parliament addressing the Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili asked the question about the need to create a State Bank in Georgia.
«I understand that there will be many banks against this. The IMF will also be against it, but Mr. Irakliy, if you personally take up this matter and justify it, you will be able to solve this issue in the Fund. "I am not involved in many issues, but my experience and vision of the problem suggests that it is necessary to do this, and I ask you to solve this problem," said Deputy Indzhiya.
For his part, Prime Minister Garibashvili emphasized that the issue of the state bank is open for discussion, and he is ready to listen to the proposals and opinions of the chairman of "European Socialists".
