As Fridon Injia pointed out, by joining the MIR banking system, the transfers of 32-34 million dollars, which Georgians used to pay in Georgia, will be compensated.
"We vote against Russia in all international organizations, yes, sir, but this is business and money that can help our population stand on its feet. We have to keep the transfers that come from there. As I understand we have two months supply of wheat left, we should not have to pay the price of gold for all this. 40 percent of the oil comes from Russia in this regard, we have to somehow move and start negotiating so that we can stand on our feet, we can make some profit with our intelligence and understanding. This is of vital importance, if these steps are not taken, we may be left without wheat, and the funds coming from Russia will remain outside and we will not be able to receive them," said Injia.
The chairman of the parliamentary political group "European Socialists" Fridon Injia once again appealed to the leadership of the highest legislative body at the session of the Bureau of the Parliament with the initiative of creating a state commission, which will further strengthen Georgia's application for admission to the European Union.
"We have applied for accelerated admission to the European Union. I asked you a week ago if the time has come to create a state commission that will plan what needs to be done in addition so that we can decently approach this goal and strengthen our application regarding admission to the European Union," Fridon Injia said at the Bureau meeting.
