🔹 Fridon Injia expressed grief over the difficult situation in which the population of Ukraine is today, primarily women, children and the elderly.
🔹 "Regarding the talks and meetings, I must tell you that the more meetings there are, the more opportunities and points of contact appear, and if it is at an even higher level, it will be better and can speed up the cessation of war. The war must end. Because the situation in Ukraine does not concern only Ukraine, it concerns the whole world, including Georgia," Fridon Injia said during his visit to the program.
🔹 What is the way for Ukraine to end this and not lose even more? Fridon Injia said to the journalist's question that he should continue the dialogue with Russia and not run to European countries to get weapons.
🔹 "I think, first of all, the dialogue with the Russians, that's why I said, the more meetings and dialogues there are, the more points of contact will appear," said Fridon Injia.
🔹 According to him, at the time, before the war started, he said that the only way to save Ukraine would be to fulfill the obligations under the Minsk Agreement, then these destroyed cities would not exist and Donetsk and Luhansk districts could be part of Ukraine.
🔹 "I hope that it will be so in the future. These districts would be entities with a special status. It would be salvation for Ukraine, for the people who died and for Europe. It would have been the right decision, but it has already passed into history, it will not come back, it will be under worse conditions, but as time goes by, Ukraine may find itself in a worse situation. That's why I would advise to start negotiations immediately, even at the highest level, and before that the meetings should be continued on the territory of Belarus" - said Fridon Injia.

Such a situation as it is in Georgia today and such enemies as Georgia has today, I don't think it has existed in the last 10 centuries at least." First of all, they want a war here, so that Georgia gets involved in these processes, then they will have a completely different rhetoric," said Fridon Injia.

According to him, "What does Georgia need? Does Georgia need war, as they call, or peace?

"Georgia must do everything in order not to be crushed in the war of big monsters." There is no doubt that we need peace," Fridon Injia added.

The US has not stopped buying uranium from Russia. Also, France. The same can be said about tungsten as well as about argon. Not to mention gas and oil. They still carry out banking operations in the interests of their countries. Many other countries - China, Hungary and so on - have similar approaches. Georgia has neither tungsten, nor gas, nor oil, nor uranium, but for us, wheat and oil, which the population of Georgia needs very much, are more expensive than uranium and gold. Therefore, I believe that the government of Georgia has taken the right step based on the state's interests, and this is very welcome", said Fridon Injia.
🔹 The chairman of the political group believes that an emergency group should be created in the country - a body that will work in more detail so that the negative events caused by the war will harm Georgia as little as possible.
🔹 Fridon Injia expressed hope that the government of Georgia will not deviate from the current political course and will remain in this position as a matter of principle. But on the other hand, according to him, appeals from Ukraine to the Georgian authorities raise certain doubts.
🔹 "I am very interested and confused, how can it be that there is a war and appeals to the Georgian authorities have started..? This means interference in Georgia's internal affairs. It is interesting, why the same does not interfere in the internal affairs of Belarus, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Turkey (which trades with Russia)? Why not invite ambassadors from other countries? I suspect that this force that "seduced" Zelensky (Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky) has something to do with our internal opposition. Because in many cases, their rhetoric and actions raise suspicions that there is a deeper connection with the part of the opposition that wants to cause unrest in the country," said Fridon Injia.
