President Salome Zurabishvili presented an annual report to the highest legislative body at an extraordinary session, where she expressed her displeasure because the parliament did not express a desire to hear information about her meetings in Europe and the United States of America.

According to him, if the president considers the issues of foreign relations based on his experience abroad, in such a case, he should agree with the parliament, the government, the one who determines the country's foreign policy.

"During such meetings, certain issues that need to be resolved are put on the agenda, and the president does not have the opportunity to make decisions at such a time. And this, I think, harms the country. Therefore, if it is agreed with the relevant institutions that are concerned with the determination of foreign policy, then the trips of the president to Europe or America will be more effective, that is when there will be complete agreement", said Fridon Injia.
